ASTM A213 T22 alloy seamless steel tube
Application:
Allowable operating temperature: it is mainly used for superheaters with wall temperatures ≤ 580 ° C and steam pipes and headers with wall temperatures ≤ 540 ° C of large capacity power station boilers such as 300. 600MW. This kind of steel has been widely used in the United States, Japan, and Europe. It has a long history in power plant operation and is a mature steel with stable running and good process performance.
T22 tubing belongs to ASTM A213 which does Ferrite and Austenitic boiler superheater and heat exchanger seamless steel tube
T22 and P22 steel pipes are included in ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) or ASTM (American Society for Testing Material) suited for superheater tubes, steam lines headers, and similar purposes where temperatures up to about 590 °C.
But for ASTM A335 P22 tubing, they intended for Ferritic and alloy seamless steel tubes intended for high-temperature service.
